Thanksgiving Dinner was EXCELLENT!
The catfish and shrimp plate was awesome took me back to my child hood growing up on the river hadn’t had good catfish in a long time. This place is family run and making it happen. go on in and give them your business. I drive a lot and was tired of over priced coopers Bbq and stinking mcds! Big hungry is Located directly across from the pilot truck stop and next door to sonic on the south side of I-10 I recommend this place to any one ex specially travelers looking for some home cookin. Waitress was really nice as well.
Real Turkey, Ham and all the trimmings.

VERY good food with decent portion sizes but slow
They had a lunch special that was a catfish plate, brought out potato salad, beans, hush puppies, by the time I was finished I was full. I was a very good meal. This is an excellent place to eat.
Deserts were too abundant.
