Just leaving this lovely place. On our road trip we were looking for a quick place to stay the night. Naturally I always look at what parks offer good sams discount- well no one answered and never called me back. I finally found the Pecan Valley RV park who answered their phone right away! They prices were so good, I could have cared less. Such great friendly people and really clean. My favorite is all the dear that roam around ! Highly recommend! Wish I had more time here
Beautiful RV park. Nice and clean bathroom. Friendly host. Love this place, wish we had more time to stay longer.
We pulled in late in the afternoon, weary from a long day on the road and ready for a quiet evening. That was exactly what we got. Sandy greeted us when we arrived, we sat down and registered and paid and were ready to set up in just a couple of minutes. The campground is nestled in the middle of a pecan tree orchard. We visited in late November, so the trees were dormant. But the deer sure weren't. They were everywhere! The pics on the website are totally accurate. We would definitely recommend an overnight visit on an extended stay.
Stopped in unplanned as we were going to arrive too late to make it to our state park reservation. We callex them at about 8 p.m. to see if they have availability; the phone as promptly answered they were very friendly and said to just pull right in and even after arriving late at 9:30 p.m. the camp host was waiting for us. This is a beautiful Park, spacious, green with grass in the fall, surrounded with trees. Loaded with deer in the morning and evenings, and I mean like 30 surrounding the place. The river is accessible within the park. Lots of squirrels and pecans around! Beautiful place. We had cell phone service with T-Mobile that was patchy but available most of the time. Only feedback I would give is that in the middle of the park there is a bright light on a post, I would tell them that down to a smaller light for the spots located more centrally.
What a lovely, peaceful small facility. Hosts most helpful. Spaces shaded and roomy. Bathroom clean and simple...great hot shower. Can hear the freeway, but birds, deer, wildlife on the river help one relax. Grocery store in Junction features local wines.
